WHEN IS IT BEST TO BOOK A NEWBORN SHOOT?

Newborn shoots are best booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

I have a limited number of newborn shoots that I can fit in a month.

I recommend booking at the start of your second trimester.

Once your booking is confirmed, I will schedule you in for around your due date and keep a spot open for you.

As soon as bub is born, you contact me and we set a date.

DO YOU OFFER 'IN HOME' PHOTOSHOOTS?

No I do not.

I have a beautiful home studio in Victoria Point, Brisbane and all shoots are done from my studio.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH MY NEWBORN?

The best time for your Newborn Photoshoot is when your Newborn Baby is 5 to 14 days new. After this time, newborn babies are harder to settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up.

AM I VACCINATED?

Yes.

I am up to date with all the necessary vaccines.

CAN I RECEIVE MY IMAGES UNEDITED/RAW?

No.

The editing that I do is part of my artistic style & therefore I am unable to supply unedited files, as is the case with all respected professional photographers.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?

The number of images you receive will depend on the package you select. Additional digital images and products can be purchased ' a la carte'.

WHAT'S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

I take about 2 weeks to edit a gallery. You will receive your images through a link that will be emailed to you.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE?

I believe in simple, clean, timeless, classic portraiture; a style that focuses on your beautiful baby. I don't like the use of distracting props. Some of my favourite images have no props at all. Just baby. 100% beautiful on their own. This way, they don't get lost in the image. I do have simple props available at the studio; hats and headbands, little beds, baskets and bowls and lots of textures that I like to use. Newborns often look most beautiful naked, or just with a hat, headband or wrap. Newborns are beautifully perfect...just as they came.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

As a boutique portrait studio, I am dedicated to delivering you the very best service and finest products.

Your portrait session is a unique experience that I can’t wait to share with you!

Each session is held in my beautiful home studio and can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

I like to create a calm and peaceful environment during our time together. There is no rush with a newborn session and I will always use your baby as my guide. I like to give special attention to each client. I do not mind waiting for you to feed or change your baby.
